You may purchase more than one booth; simply indicate how many booths you want during the online registration process.
When can I begin setting up my booth?
Booth set-up is from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2010, and from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2010.
What kind of booths do you have?
Our booths are made up of pipe and drape (black). The standard size is 10 x 10; however, we have four corner booths sized at 10 x 20.
Are dollies available?
Unfortunately, there are never enough dollies in the world when you need one. Please be prepared and bring your own.
Is there electricity and will you have extension cords available?
Electrical service is provided to each booth (one outlet per booth), but please bring your own extension cords.
Are there phone lines in the convention center for my credit card machine?
No. There are no outside phone lines provided in Maude Cobb Convention Center, BUT, the convention center is a wireless hot spot, so your handy credit card/cell phones will work inside the building.
Do I need to bring my own tables and chairs?
No. We will provide two tables (8”l x 30”w x 29”h) and two chairs with each booth. Tablecloths are not provided.
Do I need to bring my own booth sign?
We will provide a printed, numbered booth sign that will be placed at the upper rear of each booth. If you have something more decorative, you are welcome to bring it, but the standard sign must still be visible to customers.
Do you have roll-up doors I can back a truck or trailer up to for unloading?
Yes, there are large roll up doors on both the East and West side of the building. There is also a small roll up door on the South side of the building.
If I need to take a bathroom break, can someone cover my booth?
Easily identified volunteers are available to assist you with short booth breaks. These volunteers will roam the convention center on a regular basis, checking on vendors.
Is security provided?
Yes. 24-hour security personnel are on duty beginning Wednesday evening.
Do you make change?
No. Please bring adequate change for retail sales. We are not able to offer money exchanges.
Can I decorate my booth?
Yes, please show off your merchandising skills! But remember, no displays may extend into the aisle or beyond the sides of your booth.
I am selling food items. Do I need a health certificate?
Yes, all food sales require a City of Longview health certificate. Please call 903-237-1285 during regular business hours Monday – Friday to obtain this very important document. If you do not have, you will not be able to sell food.
I want to participate in the raffle drawing for shoppers. Can I give you my merchandise at the show?
Yes, we prefer that you do. After you check in and get your merchandise unloaded, please bring your donation for the raffle drawing to the check-in desk, located at the Main Entrance.
